From the Lovecraft musical The Lion King In Yellow...

Cthulhu Fhtagn from
(To the tune of the "Kahuna Matata" from "The Lion King")

TIMON
    Cthulhu fhtagn!
Chant it from all the deeps
PUMBAA
    Cthulhu fhtagn!
    Means our master sleeps
TIMON
    And when he wakes up
The whole world's his for keeps
TIMON and PUMBAA
    He'll wipe the world free
    Of humanity
TIMON
    Cthulhu fhtagn!

    [Spoken]

SIMBA
    Cthulhu fhtagn?
PUMBAA
    Yeah, it's our motto.
SIMBA
    What's a motto?
TIMON
Amato? One of our brethren in the US Congress! [laughs]
PUMBAA
    You know what, kid?
Someday Cthulhu will take away all your problems...
TIMON
That's right! Take Pumbaa for example.

    [Song resumes]

TIMON
Why, when he still looked human...
PUMBAA
    When I still looked humaaaaaaaaaaan!!!
TIMON
    Very nice.
PUMBAA
    Thanks!
TIMON
He found that his species lacked a certain appeal
To just clear the whole planet was his whole ideal
PUMBAA
I know that it's evil, not what I oughta
So I left all my friends, moved underwater
    And oh, the shame
TIMON
    He was ashamed!
PUMBAA
    Wondered what was to blame
TIMON
Don't blame it one the rain!
PUMBAA
    I moved into the muck
TIMON
    How did you feel?
PUMBAA
    Went to rituals and...
TIMON
Pumbaa! Not in front of the kids!
PUMBAA
    Oh... Sorry.
TIMON and PUMBAA
    Cthulhu fhtagn!
Chant it from all the deeps
    Cthulhu fhtagn!
    Means our master sleeps
SIMBA
    And when he wakes up
The whole world's his for keeps
TIMON
    Yeah, sing it, kid!
TIMON and SIMBA
    He'll wipe the world free
PUMBAA
    Of humanity
ALL
    Cthulhu fhtagn!

A Glimpse of Cthulhu
(To the tune of "Spoonful of Sugar" from "Mary Poppins" by Richard and Robert Sherman)

If every night you wake with screams
If you're having horrific dreams
You see a place and - AAIIEE!! - a big green face
And everytime you come awake
You feel your mind will break
From fear, from fright
It's 'cause the stars are right

And a glimpse of Cthulhu makes the sanity go down
The sanity go down, sanity go down
Just a glimpse of Cthulhu makes the sanity go down
In a most green frightful way

An island rises from the sea
With very weird geometry
Humanity has seen its final days
And as we breathe our last breath
Amidst great revelry and death
You're in a daze from all their evil ways

And a glimpse of Cthulhu makes the sanity go down
The sanity go down, sanity go down
Just a glimpse of Cthulhu makes the sanity go down
In a most green frightful way

The sacrifices at the altar
From the Deep Ones and Mi-Go
These are the things no human was meant to know
Because your brain retreats in fright
From each and every eldritch sight
Until (until) you find (you find)
You are out of your mind

And a glimpse of Cthulhu makes the sanity go down
The sanity go down, sanity go down
Just a glimpse of Cthulhu makes the sanity go down
In a most green frightful way

The Stars Are Right
(To the tune of "The Age Of Aquarius" from "Hair")

When angles don't sum to three-sixty
And stars shine right upon the sea
Then R'lyeh will rise in all its
Non-Euclidean glory
This is the morning of the day that the stars are right
The day that the stars are right
The stars are right!
The stars are right!

Agony, misunderstanding
Revelry and lusts demanding
No more civilized decisions
Artists hurling screams at visions
Great Cthulhu's coronation
And mankind's last liberation
The stars are right!
The stars are right!

When angles don't sum to three-sixty
And stars shine right upon the sea
Then R'lyeh will rises in all its
Non-Euclidean glory
This is the morning of the day that the stars are right
The day that the stars are right
The stars are right!
The stars are right!

As our hearts go bleeding through the night
But few survive the dawn of day
To breed with brothers from the water
Nothing can change the way

We are all doomed upon the day that the stars are right
The day that the stars are right

Agony, misunderstanding
Revelry and lusts demanding
Humankind's elimination
Necronomicon's narration
Predicting with starry wisdom
Death by alien organism
Eternal night
The stars are right

Fun stuff...though I have to point out prior art.

I've seen filkertom's web page, and downloaded that MP3 some time ago. However, according to that page, his version is "Words: © 2002 by Tom Smith".

However, according to this post in alt.horror.cthulhu, mine was written by 2000, if not earlier. (Here it is, spelled out in rec.music.filk, in 2001). So mine is actually the "prior art".

However, I've never actually had mine recorded/released, and I do like filkertom's version (and I figure "Hakuna Matata" → "Cthulhu Fhtagn" isn't a hard idea to come by), so I've never made any kind of issue about it (until now, but only because you brought up "prior art" first).
